Tigran Hakobyan: My work will show whether I perform commands or not
Tigran Hakobyan, a former director of Armenpress news agency, the editor of Hayk newspaper, a public and political activist, has announced his candidacy for the vacant position at the National Commission on TV and Radio of Armenia (NCTR). “I heard about the competition and decided to participate in it. On August 22, I passed the first stage, the members of the specialized committee endorsed my candidacy and voted for me, I answered questions and passed the test. Based on the conclusion of the specialized committee my candidacy must enter the agenda of the National Assembly, and MPs will decide whether I fit the position or not,” Mr. Hakobyan told A1+. In reply to our observation that the committee executes the orders given by their superiors, the political figure said he understands what he is doing and weighs all his steps. “My work will show whether I perform the commands issued from the above or not.” At the same time, Tigran Hakobyan advised waiting a little. “I shall be able to answer all other questions after I am elected and after having more information about the orders you are speaking about,” he said in conclusion. By the way, Hakobyan was the only candidate for the position.
