Political analyst Artur Ghazaryan thinks the seizure of a police building in Yerevan by the Sasna Dzrer armed group will not last long. He does not understand the plans of the armed group though it has presented definite demands – resignation of Serzh Sargsyan, formation of a government of people's confidence, release of Jirayr Sefilyan and ‘political prisoners’. “What do they mean by urging people to take to the streets without presenting a definite proposal or plan? They do not have a definite plan of actions,” the political analyst said adding that people will get disappointed and the movement will eventually fade away. Speaking about late night clashes near the seized police HQ that left four people wounded, including three members of the Sasn Dzrer armed group, Artur Ghazaryan said ‘such a turn of events was expected.’ “We have witnessed bloodshed and we shall see more bloodshed. Like the society, the authorities do not want bloodshed. If we look into the actions of the authorities, we shall see that they do not want to inflict fatal wounds to the gunmen,” he said. The political analyst refrained from assessing the group’s actions, but he said that they did not do any good to people. “We have had many heroes in the history of Armenia, who became a scourge for the society under some circumstances,” Artur Ghazaryan said in conclusion.
