Andrias Ghukasyan: Zvartnots tower is demolished by the order of Robert Kocharyan (video)
During today’s protest against the demolition of the ring-like overpass of Zvartnots International Airport, Andrias Ghukasyan said the demolition is carried out by the order of [former president] Robert Kocharyan.
The protest was followed by a march to the Embassy of Argentina in Armenia. On the way, police officers urged the group to walk along the pavement, but the marchers refused to comply with the requirement. “People, come out to the streets! They are dismantling Zvartnots,” Davit Hovhannisyan, one of the participants of the march, said addressing the passers-by.
The group is going to hand a letter to the Embassy staff, demanding corresponding steps against Argentine-Armenian businessman Eduardo Eurnekian, one of the authors of the project.
