Flashmob to be held in Yerevan during the meeting with Pope Francis
A flashmob entitled “Free Political prisoners in Armenia” will be held at Republic Square in Yerevan on June 25. The time (6.00p.m.) of the event coincides with the meeting of Pope Francis who arrives in Armenia today. The flashmob is organized in support of political prisoners in Armenia. The initiative asks the participants to take with them posters made of paper or other material with the inscription FREE POLITICAL PRISONERS IN ARMENIA which they will raise simultaneously during the meeting with the Pope. “It is preferable that the placard be held by a girl sitting on her friend’s shoulders for the poster to be seen more vividly. We would also like someone to take photos of the event or film it from several steps and place the video and photos on the Internet,” the initiative said in a Facebook post.
