4+4+4: Document singed: consensus reached (video)
Within the frames of 4+4+4 format, a declaration of consensus over mechanisms to ensure the lawfulness of electoral processes in the Electoral Code was signed between the authorities and the opposition. Consensus was reached. By the way, the representatives of the civil society didn’t sign the statement. The NA Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction leader Levon Zurabyan read the letter by which the representatives of the civil society inform why they didn’t sign the joint statement. “We inform that the changes mentioned in the statement are positive but at the same time there are many issues, which remain unsolved.” The parties congratulated each other and assessed the signing of the document as an unprecedented event.
