MES: Six killed in traffic collision in Armenia
At least six people were killed as Mercedes C220 and Kia Sonata collided near the village of Tsovak [in Gegharkunik marz] on Sunday evening, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports. The accident occurred on the 27th kilometer of Martuni-Vardenis roadway. The drivers of both cars died on the spot. Before the arrival of rescuers, one of the passengers of Kia Sonata, was rushed to hospital with different injuries. Doctors say his condition is satisfactory. On arriving at the scene of the accident, rescuers took out three more passengers from Kia Sonata. One of them died later in a Vardenis hospital. Rescuers de-energized the cars, closing the gas cylinder valve of Kia Sonata.
