There is a need to draw attention to handicrafts. Dream EXPO company has organized its first exhibition-sale of handmade, high quality and delicate products. All those, who want to present their works to the society, are taking part in the exhibition-sale. Company owner Arthur Vardanyan noted that the company was established on March 1; they aim at promoting small and medium enterprise, “We mainly focus on domestic production to promote the small and medium enterprise in our country. We aim at showing the people that there are such works, which are worth spending some amount of money from salary.” Five-six participants are included in the event, “With our handicrafts we want to show the world that we can become a serious competitor to various countries, for example, India.” The participants are people, who have had different handicrafts and wanted to cooperate. The selection wasn’t made randomly; the owner of the company claims, their main principle is equality. They think it is early to speak about exportation; they are going to spread their production through different websites and attract the attention in that way, but at present they work for the inner market. As they state the people are not much interested in the handicrafts, which became the reason for voicing about the production and attract the attention of the people in that way. The exhibition-sale included different jewelry, clothes, soaps, notebooks and other handicrafts. Participant of the exhibition Anna Mirzoyan has been engaged in the handicraft for already the fourth year. She takes part in exhibitions often and has a Facebook page, through which she sells her production, “I also sell products from the studio, where I work. I have a great desire to expand the amounts of the works and present for sale in larger amounts.” The handicrafts, by the way, have moderate prices, and the exhibition-sale will be open also tomorrow. 1 2 3 4 5 6
