Karabakh: Azerbaijan used different types of weapons overnight
Azerbaijan continued to violate the fragile truce along the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces overnight, using different caliber weapons, including 60-mm (19 shots), 82-mm (128), 120-mm mortars (5), as well as RPG-7 (2), SPG-9 (9) and AGS-17 (27) grenade launchers. The vanguard units of Nagorno-Karabakh’s Defense Army are in full control of the situation and confidently carry out their military duties. A verbal ceasefire agreement to halt hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone was reached by the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides on April 5. Prior to that, scores of soldiers were killed and wounded from both sides in renewed clashes in the conflict zone.
