The tension was maintained in the sitting hall after removing journalists from the 4+4+4 format discussions. For a long time they couldn’t decide where to start from. The participants claim that there are 5 proposals plus two more. Representative of the civic society, human rights defender Artak Zeynalyan immediately notes where to start from: “We are concerned about the following issue- the key issue of increase of number of voters by 500-600 thousand during the nationwide elections.” Davit Harutyunyan starts from cameras; he isn’t against it, but cameras cannot prevent fraud. Hrayr Tovmasyan wants to understand whether a broken camera is a sign of violation at the polling station: “The camera of road traffic has broken down. It doesn’t mean that I violated traffic rules,” says Head of the NA Staff. Representative of the civic society Tigran Yegoryan wants to know which the border of power’s sacrifice in the very elections is: “How far are the authorities ready to go in the face of you? What responsibility can they undertake and what – cannot,” asks lawyer Tigran Yegoryan. There is no such border. The parties pass to the electoral ink. Hrayr Tovmasyan and Davit Harutyunyan bring forward some arguments connected with the electoral ink. Levon Zurabyan tries to understand the concerns of the authorities, which falsify elections. Davit Harutyunyan flies into rage: “It means You are the one who falsifies, speak in a normal way!- Calm down! Don’t speak to me in that tone!” This quarrel continues for some time. Tigran Yegoryan suggests what if they leave. Republican Hovhannes Sahakyan gets nervous: Hrayr Tovmasyan wasn’t able to control his emotions addressed to the representatives of the civic society: “I think that the observer organizations are demagogic, illiterate, get power from outside. – Do you really think so? I wrote down your opinion.” Finally passions calm down. The discussions continue through electronics in order to rule out the human factor on the process of elections. The next working visit will be held on Friday.
