A signature-signing event was held in Geghanush community of Syunik marz with the help of Kapan-based 'Regional Monitoring Institute' NGO from October to December 2015. The petition aims to restore the damage caused to the environment and locals by Geghanush tailing dump, operated by Dundee Precious Metals and compensate for harms. The community has 249 eligible voters. 184 residents have joined the petition.
