Lifers end hunger strike

Some 32 life-termers in Armenia, who began an indefinite hunger strike ten days ago demanding that their cases be reviewed, today ended the strike, Gor Ghlechyan, Spokesman for the Justice Ministry's Penitentiary Department, told A1+. Republican lawmaker Hovhannes Sahakyan visited the protesting lifers earlier on Wednesday.
