Harut Pambukchyan: “Finally I was awarded at state level” (video)
On seeing him in the street people cannot remain indifferent. Beloved singer Harut Pambukchyan, or as the people call him, Dzax Harut, is in Yerevan. Though he has lived in the United States for many years, he often visits Armenia, “The occasions are my personal initiatives. It is my city, I like visiting it. I have many friends here,” the singer told “A1+”. In reply to the question, what has been changed in the city for him, he noted, “Much. At first the youth: they are very talented, decent and tasteful. It inspires me.” While speaking about the state awards granted by Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of independence, some of which were perceived in different ways by the people, Dzax Harut said, “It is an issue of state level or the issue of the Ministry of Culture.” Dzax Harut was also awarded. He was awarded with the Honorary Title of the People’s Artist of the RA. “It is always pleasant. I am happy that finally I was awarded at state level. It makes me happy and obliges me to work better.” Is he aware of the developments in politics? “Yes, I am aware, but I don’t like politics. I do not want to speak about something, which I don’t understand.” When asked, what he would like to change in the country, Dzax Harut highlighted, “Everything: I would like the people to live well, I would like the migration to stop.” At the end of the interview the singer promised that next year he will have a concert in Yerevan.
