James Warlick expresses concerns over mortars used in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
The U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group has expressed concerns over the recent escalation of tensions on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. “Both #Armenia and #Azerbaijan report the use of mortars and heavy weapons. If true, it is a dangerous escalation. We must work for #NKpeace,” James Warlick tweeted. He also posted a photo, saying “This is a 120 mm mortar reportedly used in the Nagorno #Karabakh conflict. Such escalation is unacceptable. #NKpeace.”
