Hollywood Non-Stop kicks off in Armenian marzes next week
America on the Road 2015, a cultural program by the US Embassy in Armenia, will kick off next week throughout the marzes (provinces) of Armenia. During September and October, Armenia’s State Youth Orchestra will present aspects of American music, film and dance to residents of Armenia under the banner Hollywood Non-Stop. The Orchestra will play hit scores from the films West Side Story, Braveheart and Pirates of the Caribbean. Songs by the American composers George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein and John Williams will also be performed during the tour. Concerts will be held in Goris (Sept.7), Kapan (Sept.8), Meghri (Sept.9) and Gyumri (Oct. 5)
