Two servicemen killed, two injured in car accident in Karabakh
The NKR Defence Army says two servicemen were killed and another two wounded in a car accident on Berdzor-Stepanakert highway on June 5. The accident occurred at 1:55am on the 28th km of the highway. The vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a gorge, killing Sasun Ziroyan (born in 1989) and Marat Tadevosyan (born in 1987). Tigran Petrosyan and Sargis Gevorgyan were rushed to the central military hospital in Stepanakert with injuries. An investigation is underway. “The NKR Defence Army shares the grief of the heavy loss and expresses its condolences to members of the family, relatives and fellows of the servicemen,” the Defence Army said in a statement.
