If people stay in Baghramyan Avenue, the audit at the Russian-managed Electric Networks of Armenia will produce results. But if people go home, the current electricity tariffs will be raised, says Chairman of the Christian-Democratic Revival Party Sos Gimishyan. He is fascinated by the actions of the young activists protesting in the central Yerevan, regardless of different labels given to them. “I have been in politics for 30 years, and I must confess that we have blocked Baghramyan Avenue only twice and for a short period. Any politician who wants to gain dividends from the situation, to put it mildly, is not doing a good thing,” Mr  Gimishyan said. He says meticulous checkups should be ordered at the ENA, only an audit is not enough. Chairman of the Union of National Democrats, Arshak Sadoyan, is also proud of the protesters in Baghramyan Avenue. “What happened in Baghramyan Avenue is worthy of praise. The lack of experience, of course, will leave its mark.  But these people have threatened the authorities in Yerevan and Moscow to such an extent that many reminded of the case of Permyakov,” he said. Mr Sadoyan says the audit will yield results if it involves international experts. “The nationalization of the Electric Networks of Armenia will be our greatest achievement.” Arshak Sadoyan blamed the current situation in Armenia on the Kremlin while Sos Gimishyan on the Armenian government.
