Elections of Rector launched in Polytechnic: situation is tense (video)
Elections of Rector have been launched in Engineering University- Polytechnic. There are two candidates- former Rector of Polytechnic, ARF member Vostanik Marukhyan and current acting Rector Hovhannes Tokmajyan. To remind, the relations of Hovhannes Tokmajyan and Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan are tense because of sex-scandal connected with Mr. Tokmajyan. As the correspondent of “A1+” informs from Polytechnic, the situation is tense. Minister Ashotyan is sitting in front of professors, beside the president of the committee, which caused dissatisfaction of professors. Docent of Engineering University Tsaturyan noted in his speech, that the Minister had no right to sit beside president of the committee, thus putting pressure on the committee and professors. He urged Mr. Ashotyan to sit beside all the professors, as he is a member of University’s Council, as most of the professors. The Minister didn’t reply to all this. Details- later
