One Armenian taekwondo fighter to leave for Baku
Arman Yeremyan (80 kg w/c) will be the only taekwondo fighter to represent Armenia at the the first European Games in Azerbaijan, footsport.am reports. The most interesting is that at the beginning of the year the Taekwondo Federation of Armenia announced that they would not send athletes to Baku. A1+ has contacted the Federation to clarify the information. Arman Yeremyan has his sponsors and participates in almost all competitions. We did not know that he was going to leave for Baku. The coaching board may have given its consent to his participation, I do not know. Anyway, our decision about Armenia’s participation in the games remains the same,” said Vardan Ghahramanyan, Executive Director of the Federation.
