NCTR must be accountable for its wrong decisions: Aravot

In 2002 on this day “A1+” TV company was deprived of the opportunity to broadcast programs on its own channel. National Commission on Television and Radio (NCTR) decided that “A1+”, which had provided 24-hour broadcasting for a long time, in term of its technical, financial resources and professional staff was inferior to a company, which was famous only for its skills of broadcasting separate programs. That for deciding the winner the standards set by law had been assessed incorrectly and that their resources weren’t enough became obvious after some time, when the license was passed to another person.
