Today Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov was buried in Moscow. Days ago, Boris Nemtsov was shot dead in the center of Moscow near Kremlin by a still unknown person. One name is given to this fact in Armenia- demonstrative execution. “Nemtsov was the victim of Putin’s regime. Russian authorities remain the number one suspect and independent of the revelations, it is evident that they won’t please anyone,” says Davit Shahnazaryan. Nemtsov was killed in the area, which is under strict control of the special services of Russia. Boris Nemtsov was the politician, whose each step was in the spotlight of the special services, assures Khachatur Kokobelyan, “It is impossible that the followers didn’t see what had happened and there can be no more evident fact that it is a political murder.” Just after the murder many hypotheses were brought forward. Vladimir Putin politicized the case by saying that the murder is a provocation in order to destabilize the situation in the country. “At least it is funny that yesterday Lavrov condemned those, who politicize the case,” notes Davit Shahnazaryan. There are hypotheses that Boris Nemtsov was killed for his statements on the conflict in Ukraine or statements connected with the terrorist attack on French Charlie Hebdo editorial. Personal motives were also brought forward, even murder because of jealousy, but the last hypothesis was rejected by Nemtsov’s girlfriend. “It remains to be said that Nemtsov organized his murder himself in order to hurt Putin… One thing is clear for me that in general the establishment of the dictatorship is dangerous as the atmosphere is created where the end justifies the means,” says Paruyr Hayrikyan. Armenian politicians think that Boris Nemtsov’s murder was a blow to Russia's democracy.
