Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) lawmaker Vahagn Makhsudyan considers it to be normal that some BHK members have left the party: “They are free to express their viewpoint.” Levon Khachatryan doesn’t trust his party as he did before: “I see the future of the BHK as the congress will decide.” BHK member Tigran Urikhanyan clearly answers the question how he imagines the future of his party: “Non governmental, opposition, standing by the people.” Several days before news websites informed that Mr. Urikhanyan stopped his responsibilities as BHK press secretary. The latter rejects the news: “I don’t want the discussions of my official status to become public.” BHK member Rustam Gasparyan, who, according to the unofficial information, has already left the party, is disappointed about the political developments. “Frankly speaking we expected more”, says Rustam Gasparyan. BHK lawmaker thinks that the party had no idea about the bloodshed, when it was starting a national movement: “We didn’t imagine that the authorities would do everything to keep what they have.” He doesn’t know what the authorities have told Gagik Tsarukyan that the latter retreated from the fight: “Both Tsarukyan and Levon Ter-Petrosyan aren’t ready for the fight, today the nation doesn’t have a leader”, says BHK member. Aragats Akhoyan, who has also left the party, doesn’t regret for his decision, though he knows how that step is called: “The rat race, isn’t it?” Former BHK member says that even today he and Gagik Tsarukyan have a good relationship: “Yes, that person simply won’t be engaged in politics and we will be just friends.” Mr. Akhoyan will meet Tsarukyan and will explain his step. Karo Karapetyan, who had also left the BHK, was in no mood to answer whether he met with Gagik Tsarukyan or not: “Listen, I say it isn’t allowed, you are asking questions?” Karo Karapetyan agreed that he is a lawmaker but he isn’t obliged to answer the questions, if it is needed, he will even hit the journalist.
