A group of journalists today approached Serzh Sargsyan at the Erablur Pantheon and asked him questions concerning the political situation in the country and the escalation of tension on the border. “The Minister of Defence will join us soon and you can address your questions personally to him,” said Serzh Sargsyan. “But you are the Commander-in-Chief of Armenia,” continued the journalist who had asked Serzh Sargsyan about the intensified ceasefire violations on the border. “Really?” Serzh Sargsyan replied smiling and sat the car waiting for him, Gyumri’s Gala TV reports. Serzh Sargsyan today visited the Yerablur Military Pantheon on the occasion of Army Day, a national holiday in the country. He was accompanied by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia, Bako Sahakyan, President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, and top-ranking officials.
