Political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan says by violating the ceasefire and intensifying the tension on the border Azerbaijan aims to show the international community that the Karabakh conflict cannot be resolved in a peaceful way. Therefore, the enemy is exerting every effort to call superpowers attention on the problem. “Everyone understands that the US, Russia and the European Union, represented by France, are all interested to see a stable and predictable South Caucasus which stems from their personal interests. Everyone prefers to maintain that stability, with Azerbaijan trying to fotce the world to pay for peace,” he said.
