Armenian and Turkish entrepreneurs under one roof (video)
For the first time dialogue will be held between specialists of IT sector of Armenia and Turkey. At the end of the week Innoweekend event will be held in Gyumri- in three formats. The first is Heckton, contest of innovative ideas, when the participants will have opportunity to represent the practical option of their ideas. ARMENIAFTW conference includes master classes and discussions. The third is Startup weekend- contest of business models, in which Armenian and Turkish entrepreneurs will take part. Teams will create a website and app in a short period of time, which will make it possible to solve social problems: “Such events promote the development of economy,”- notes Public journalism club adviser Hayk Asriyan. Turkish delegation consists of 32 members. They are investors, heads of big companies, “Turkey is a big and interesting market for us, so Armenian enterprises will be able to enter Turkish and international market,”- says Hayk Asriyan. “Microsoft Innovation Center” Acceleration program head Artashes Vardanyan is sure that these events mostly interest the young. There are awards for the participants, for which they must have a devoted team, innovative ideas and what’s the most important, “To be different from the opponent by 10 percent isn’t enough, one must differ 10 times in order to reach success,”- says Artashes Vardanyan.
