Russian official language of Armenia?: Aravot
“We are brothers and we must speak fraternal language. If you want to speak Russian, speak, if not- no… but I wouldn’t recommend retiring,”- at the end of interparliamentary committee 25th session of the cooperation between RA National Assembly and RF Federal Assembly announced interparliamentary committee co-chairman Nikolay Rizhkov turning to the news that official language may be changed in Armenia. Committee’s Armenian side co-chairman, NA Vice Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan announced that the state position of the RA is known and there is no change in it, there are no bases for recognizing second official language, “There will be bases for it, only when certain number of any other nation lives in the RA.” The whole article here
