The legislative process must be more flexible: OSCE report (video)
Legislative process in Armenia must be more flexible and competent. It is noted in the assessment report by the OSCE Democratic institutions and human rights office. Justice Minister Hovhannes Manukyan agrees with the assessments of the report. “It is time limitation and workload level of legislative process. Such ways must be found, in order haste doesn’t harm the quality of the law,”- said Justice Minister. Hovhannes Manukyan stressed the importance of civil society representatives’ participation in the process of drafts’ development and added that such center can be created, where not only officials but also specialists will be included. Legal acts and concepts created as a result will be very good.
