Healthy lifestyle courses at Chinary and Aygepar schools
On October 25 the Youth Organization of the Republican Party of Armenia and Yerevan State Medical University students’ council visited Tavush region Chinary and Aygepar villages. Within the frames of the project “Let’s be helpful”, the students visited Tavush region Chinary and Aygepar villages’ schools. Courses on the topics “healthy lifestyle”, “healthy food”, “personal hygiene” were held with two villages’ pupils, first aid trainings were also conducted. After the trainings the children got personal hygiene items (tooth paste, brushes, etc. ) The aim of the project was to propagate healthy lifestyle among the pupils, regulate the diet, make the pupils ready for emergency situations due to first aid trainings. For the efficient organization of pupils’ sports games the young people presented them sports equipment and sports supplies including goalkeeper’s gloves, balls, table for tennis, chess boards and more. Organizer Karen Akopyan noted in his speech, “Being a doctor, I am very responsible for the organization of such events and I am very happy that this time project is initiated by doctor-students represented by YSMU students’ council. This project will be continuous especially keeping the border line schools under the center of attention, where the objectives of the project are more urgent,”- he said. HHK Youth Organization
