USA consular service in Armenia has started to limit the entrance of telecommunications and high-tech companies’ representatives into the USA. Executive Director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises Karen Vardanyan doesn’t exclude that such behavior of the USA diplomatic mission is explained by the foreign political orientation of Armenia. “I think that they do wrong calculations. It is a hysterical step, may be connected with the EEU”. Armenian IT sector employees have had problems with getting visas since the last year. According to the data of Karen Vardanyan, the number of refusals by the Embassy has recently grown tenfold. More in the video
