The video the Armenian Police spread about an October 19 incident that involves Pre-Parliament member Alek Yenikomshian does not correspond to reality, says Gagik Sarukhanyan, another member of the initiative. Talking to A1+, Mr Sarukhanyan said he believes Alek Yenikomshian. During the accident a group of men, identifying themselves as members of the police, forcibly pulled Yenikomshian out of the car he was riding in and left the blind activist in the middle of a busy street. “The video does not present the events as they happened. Besides, it is not clear how long the blind man remained in the busy street.  No matter how carefully you watch the video, you cannot make out whether the person accompanying Yenikomshian to the sidewalk is a policeman or not,” said Mr Sarukhanyan. Earlier, A1+ talked to Mr Yenikomshian who said that the man accompanying him was an ordinary passer-by and the police did not render him any help. In the video spread by the police, Yenikomshian is seen with a policeman who accompanies him to a taxi and asks the driver to take the blind man straight to his destination. “I demand that the police provide the full video [without mounting] so that people can see that a blind man was left alone in the street,” said Mr Sarukhanyan.
