The government-submitted bill on granting privileges of tax deductions to entrepreneurs in border communities today generated a heated discussion in the Armenian parliament. “At this moment we can say that we do not have the complete list of border communities. Their number varies between 26 and 47. We do not have the list of entrepreneurs in border communities either,” Heritage party lawmaker Zaruhi Postanjyan said addressing Vardan Ayvazyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs. “At this moment, we cannot say whether residents of border communities will be exempt from property tax or land tax. We can also record that border community residents do not exercise any privilege at this moment in view of electricity, water and gas tariffs,” she continued. Whatever I say at this moment, will not matter as you will continue to insist on your words,” said Vardan Ayvazyan .
