Armenian Ombudsman, Head of EU Delegation discuss cooperation in the field of human rights
Armenia’s Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan has met with the Head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador Traian Hristea. The two men discussed cooperation in the field of human rights in Armenia, the national human rights program, its implementation and monitoring. Ambassador Traian Hristea hailed the activity of the Armenian Ombudsman’s Office in the sphere of human rights protection and expressed readiness to deepen bilateral cooperation. Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan, in turn, welcomed EU's role in strengthening democratic values and human rights in Armenia and stressed the importance of deepening cooperation.
