Levon Hayrapetyan is returning home
Moscow's Basman District Court has reviewed the restraint of jailed Armenian philanthropist Levon Hayrapetyan, replacing detention by home arrest. Hayrapetyan is now returning home, ‘Freedom for Levon Hayrapetyan' headquarters informed A1+. The Court took into account the health condition of Levon Hayrapetyan. The famous businessman was detained on July 15. A few days later, a court in Moscow issued an arrest warrant for him and chose a two-month arrest as a measure of restraint. Later, the 65-year-old businessman was officially charged with embezzlement and illegal money laundering by a Russian investigative body.
