Republican MP disappoints some critics
The next initiative speaking about the shameful situation of human rights in Azerbaijan was put into circulation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on October 1, Republican lawmaker Arpine Hovhannisyan wrote on her Facebook account. “As I reported earlier, on Monday, Sept. 30, the PACE Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights on September 30 adopted a unanimous statement in this connection, condemning the violations of human rights in Azerbaijan. On October 2 the PACE monitoring commission will present another report on the situation of human rights in Azerbaijan. If certain people think that this is done without direct or indirect participation or efforts of our delegation, let me disappoint them. If there are former diplomats among the critics, they will understand what I am hinting at. Let me not open the brackets,” she writes.
