SIS refused the case of hindering the work of A1+ journalist
Special Investigation Service didn’t institute a criminal case with regard to the case of hindering A1+ journalist Marine Khachatryan’s work by the NA security head Karen Hayrapetyan. We remind that on September 9 near the entrance of Baghramyan Street of the NA, the NA security service head hit the hand of the journalist, who was shooting the action and threw the camera on the ground. Later the SIS will give details with regard to refusing the case. We remind that “Defense of Freedom of speech committee” and “Journalists for future” NGOs made a joint announcement after the incident by condemning the violence and considering it criminally punishable action. The NGOs demanded the NA to call the NA security head Karen Hayrapetyan to account.
