MP's son found and arrested
This summer, an arrest warrant was issued for the son of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) lawmaker Rustam Gasparyan, who was wanted within the framework of a criminal case instituted in July, the Investigation Committee informed Pastinfo news agency. The investigative body also decided to involve Roman Gasparyan in the case as a defendant under Article 131 (Part 2) of the country’s Criminal Code (kidnapping committed by a group of individuals with prior agreement). Roman Gasparyan was found on Tuesday, September 16, and taken to the Police Criminal Investigation Department. He was officially charged on September 17.
