FIDE publishes top players lists: Armenian GM Levon Aronian is second

FIDE has published September 2014 FRL FIDE Rating List. As of September 1, Norwegian GM Magnus Carlsen tops the list with 2870 points. He is followed by Levon Aronian of Armenia who has 2804 points. Italian Fabiano Caruana comes 3rd with 2801 points. According to rapid and blitz chess results, Levon Aronian is 4^th on the list of top 100 players
